Green Bay Packers footballer Warren Aaron Rodgers is starting his first MVP season since 2011 with the numbers at 14 weeks.
In terms of passing ratings, Rodgers is closer and closer to the NFL one-season record he set nine years ago.
After recording a pass rate of 133.6 during Sunday’s 31-24 win over the Detroit Lions, Rodgers’ season pass rate is now 119.7, just a few points below the 122.5 mark he set in 2011.
Rodgers have 133.9 points from their last three games, including Sunday’s Lions victory. He threw 10 touchdown passes, with no interruptions in those three games.
Again, consistent magnificence has driven his incredible season.
In 2011, Rodgers had 13 touchdown passes in 13 of his 15 starts and a passer rating of over 100.0. This season, Rodgers has hit two boundaries in 12 of 13 games.
Overall, Rodgers has a pass rating of at least 120.0 in eight games. In 2011, he had six, but the other two games ended below 120.0.
With three games left in Rodgers 2020, the current playoff field will be played in all three games as the Packers try to get the No. 1 seed in the NFC. In 2011, he sat in his 17th week, but still finished with 45 touchdown passes, 4,643 passing yards and 48 total touchdowns. This season, he has 48 touchdown passes, 4,535 passing yards and a total of 50 touchdowns.
Rodgers’ current passer rating is 119.7, the third highest in NFL history. Beyton Manning, who held the record from 2004 to 2011, is in second place at 121.1.
