Star quarterback said winning this year’s division title was a bit special.
Through the Wisconsin State Journal, he said, “I’ve been enjoying it for other years, and maybe a little more – because you have no idea what the future holds.”
“I’re really … it’s extra special this year. We were in the locker room for a moment. You ‘re going to miss out. I’m very excited about the opportunity to be a part of this team and I’m looking forward to what the future holds with them. “
Rodgers-LED Packers Lions 31-24, Clich NFC North Title
It’s not really clear why this is so special than any other year, but there may be at least two reasons why.
Rodgers may be looking at the end of his career. He is now 37 and will be 38 next year. He could step down from his contract after the 2021 season and retire or look for a new team and take charge of Jordan Love.

The Packers Love draft may be another reason for Rogers’ comments. Green Bay shocked everyone when it selected Love in the first round of the 2020 draft. With Green Bay ahead of the playoffs, the mounting pressure on the unique quarterback has been muted.
