GRAFTON (WLS) – About 500 doses of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine had to be discarded in Wisconsin.

Fifty vials of vaccine were left out of the pharmacy refrigerator overnight at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin.
Although some vaccines were administered to workers within 12 hours after the cooling period, most had to be released due to temperature needs.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services said it is unaware that this is happening anywhere else in the state, but found the situation disappointing and unfortunate.
