The approval of the issuance of a postage stamp in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the ADM was announced
Officials from the Dominican Academy of Medicine (ADM) celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding.
The president of this institution, Ramon Eduardo Pérez Martínez, highlighted the successes achieved over half a century.
Dr. Herbert Stern gave the talk “History of the Dominican Academy of Medicine”, highlighting how this non-profit institution arose from the initiative of a group of Dominican doctors with the intention of promoting knowledge and medical science .
As part of the event, posthumous recognitions were given to outstanding specialists for their years and delivery of service in favor of health.
