India on Monday registered 103,558 new cases of Covid-19, its highest single-day increase in infections so far in the pandemic.
The number of new daily cases in India has risen steadily since March 10, and the country also reported 741,830 active cases on Monday, the highest since October 20.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Sunday to review the situation of the Covid-19.
