Following the postponement of the Rockets-Thunder game due to positive testing of COVID-19 within the Rockets team, it is said that Houston is dealing with other players facing a seven-day quarantine period.
According to Shams Charania of Athletic, a separate positive test of a Rockets member has resulted in additional contact tracking. As a result, a group of players will have to be quarantined for seven days, including Eric Gordon, John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins.
After the opening of the Rockets ’season was postponed, Charania reported that three players had tested positive, with another four in quarantine after tracking contacts. Rookie Kenyon Martin Jr. tested positive, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. On Tuesday evening, he and a group that included Wall and Cousins received haircuts in a player’s apartment, prompting contact tracking protocols.
The Rockets ’next game is scheduled for Saturday on the road against the Trail Blazers, followed by a Monday game against the Nuggets.
