R. Kelly reportedly received both shots of a COVID-19 vaccine while being held in an Illinois prison for serious child sexual charges.
The “I Think I Can Fly” singer, who repeatedly tried to get out of custody because of the dangers of the pandemic, is one of more than 60 inmates at the Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Center who have been completely inoculated, according to TMZ.
The 47-year-old received his first shot in January and the second this month, according to the outlet. It was unclear what vaccine he received.
The singer, real name Robert Kelly, is awaiting trial in Illinois and New York on charges such as sexual abuse of underage girls, production of child pornography and destruction of evidence.
