What Call of Duty give, Call of Duty takes away. A new luxury crossbow started yesterday Call of Duty: Warzone i Black Ops Cold War by chance, and now players who spent hours trying to unlock it are frustrated that Activision has taken him out of the game.
How Eurogamer reports, players discovered the R1 Shadowhunter crossbow in the War zone store yesterday, March 18, which was weird because it hadn’t been officially mentioned in the last notes of the patch. Players who decided to buy it anyway could not use it War zone but he could take it out and start shooting people at it Black Ops Cold Warmultiplayer. Others discovered that it could be unlocked for free completing a challenge this forced them to get three one-shot medals in 15 matches. And so they did, for several hours, until Activision realized it had made a mistake and snatched it away.
“A problem with the R1 Shadowhunter weapon that appears earlier than expected in War zone i Black Ops Cold War it has been resolved, ”the company tweeted from your attendance account. “Refunds are planned for players who bought the package while they were live in the store and the challenge of the package and the game will return later.”
Tweet comments, of course, were turned off, but that didn’t stop players from expressing their frustration elsewhere. “Rippa all the people who crushed your ass for the gun,” one person wrote in a budget-tweet. Others were challenged to the subreddit of the game. One thing would be that the crossbow was temporarily disabled until it was ready (some players reported that the attachments were a bit wrong), but a Treyarch community manager confirmed on Twitter this weapon unlock progress would be reset for everyone, even once the game is back. Black Ops Cold War it is, however, a militarized world of Activision creation and you might always want to unlock the weapon for free.
