The American actor Anthony Hopkins, 83, posted a video on his account on Tuesday, March 2 Twitter dancing to the meringue song ‘Something in your face fascinates me’, by Puerto Rican singer Elvis Crespo.
“Tuesday Melodies” was what he wrote the famous side of the recording in which he is seen very smiling and moving his arms to the sound of the music.

What surprised netizens the most was that at one point in the dance, the artist said “I am colombian” (‘I am Colombian’), before applauding and continuing his meringue choreography.
Hopkins, who appeared dressed in a ‘guayabera’ with flowers, red shorts, black sneakers and sunglasses, has been married since 2003 to Stella Arroyave, A 64 – year – old Colombian woman born in the city of Popayán.
The video of the Oscar winner as best actor for the film ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ already has more than 1.2 million views and 88,000 ‘Likes’, just three hours after its release.
Although many netizens applauded the actor’s ‘forbidden steps’, others pointed out that the song is a Dominican meringue.
