According to reports, week 64 (we won’t include last week in the competition due to Brodie Lee’s tribute program) Dynamite defeat the WWE NXT in vision and assessments.
Wednesday New Year’s Eve Smash Night 1st Edition Dynamite it reportedly attracted 662,000 viewers (-32% over last week) to TNT, with a score of 0.25 (-37.5%) in key demographics 18-49.
The numbers are down on Brodie Lee’s Dynamite Celebration of Life edition last week, which drew 977,000 viewers with a 0.40 rating on key demographics.
Wednesday’s New Year’s Eve edition NXT it reportedly attracted 641,000 viewers (+ 9.4%) on the USA Network, with a score of 0.16 (+ 33.3%) on key demographics 18-49.
The numbers have risen from last week’s show, which drew 586,000 viewers with a score of 0.12 in the key 18-49 show.
Cable news channels certainly affected both AEW and NXT last night due to coverage of the riots and the consequences in Washington, DC.
