Actress Elliot Page and dancer Emma Portner are divorcing after three years of marriage, CNN reported. In a joint statement Tuesday, Elliot Page and Emma Portner told CNN that while they broke up last summer, they continue to share cordial conditions: “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorced after our separation last summer. We respect each other the most and remain close friends. ” Elliot Page and Emma Portner were married in January 2018, shortly after making their relationship public. The former couple started dating her in 2017.
Elliot Page went gay like in 2014 and last December revealed himself as a transsexual. An excerpt from his long statement said, “I feel overwhelming gratitude for the amazing people who have supported me during this journey. I can’t begin to express how remarkable it is to finally love who I am enough to pursue my true self.” Emma Portner was Elliot Page’s biggest supporter, cheering him on, writing, “Elliot’s existence is a gift in itself. It shines in the sweet E. I love you so much.”
Emma Portner is a professional dance teacher at the Broadway Dance Center. He has choreographed and even starred in Justin Bieber’s music video Life is worth living and was also part of the singer’s Purpose World Tour.
Elliot Page is best known for playing the title character in the 2007 film Juno, for which he was nominated for an Oscar. Elliot Page ‘s impressive work includes films such as Inception, X-Men: The Last Stand, Tallulah i X-Men: Days of the Future Past, among others. He is also the star of the popular Netflix series The Umbrella Academy.
