“With 21 hours of work, we are shredding rubble and settling in a sector of the burned structure in the #BulevardVenezuela,” the institution reported on Twitter.
Earlier, at 11.50 last night, the institution detailed that they had completed 14 hours of work in extinguishing the structural fire and that the staff were taking over to continue the work.
It also transpired that during the extinction tasks at least 500 cubic meters of water transported by the fire tanks had been used, the one supplied on several occasions by the CAMINA pipes was added.

Meanwhile, Civil Protection has detailed that more than 150 people from different institutions participated in the work on this site.
“The Level III structural fire in the sale of spare parts has been controlled, the actions are focused on suffocating the various materials that are still burning inside,” the institution said at noon on Thursday, always at your Twitter account. They even stated that it was necessary to “use foam for flammable substances.”

The accident also affected a paint sale and firefighters worked to prevent the fire from spreading to homes and other neighboring businesses.
In the afternoon hours of Thursday they reported that they were carrying out “defensive maneuvers”, to protect “some houses in passage 1 of the Llum colony, adjoining the south-west side of the burning structure”.
The flames originated in the cellar of the establishment located on the second floor of the business, where the staff of the relief organization began work to try to suffocate from approximately 10:00 a.m. this Thursday.
“Lubricants, spare parts of all kinds and new tires” were stored in the cellar, which is what was “causing this dense black smoke,” the Fire Department source said.
Some people who suffered a nervous breakdown or were affected by smoke inhalation were treated at the scene, one of the lifeguards said.

About 22 firefighters worked in the area with “three units, a cistern and external support to supply them in the sale of spare parts,” the source said. At least two pipes from the WALK were collaborating, added Fire Director Edwin Chavarría.

When the fire started, the Fire Department asked motorists via its Twitter account to clear the road and its surroundings, to avoid “obstructing the passage of units.”
The causes of the accident are currently unknown.
