A New York City neighborhood is being terrorized by hyperaggressive squirrels. Check out a report on rodent outrage here:
Some residents in Rego Park, Queens, are now afraid to go outside after a series of squirrel attacks in the area.
Micheline Frederick is one of the victims whose sting wounds are still healing after she was viscously assaulted.
Speaking to WCBS-TV, he said, “You feel like someone has been bitten by a squirrel, you’re like.” Okay, you have a little brushstroke, what’s up? “But that was … it was an MMA cage match! And I lost!”
“We are fighting in the snow and there is blood everywhere and my fingers are chewing and not letting go.
“It finally stopped and there I had a big bloody mess.”

Micheline received a shot against rabies as a precaution after the December 21 attack and tried to warn her neighbors, but there is little that can be done when they go on strike.
Vinati Singh said the squirrels “aggressively go in search of people,” including her husband on two occasions.
He said, “He basically grabbed the plastic bag he had, tried to get up by the leg. I was able to avoid them. It was the first time.
“The second time was here when I tried to get in.”
At least three more people in the area have reported being attacked by a squirrel, but it’s unclear if it’s just a small psychotic or some sort of brutal squirrel cartel terrorizing the neighborhood.

Traps have now been cast but the culprits have not yet been caught. Meanwhile, Anita Singh Sood is not taking any chances.
Speaking to ABC7 NY, he said, “When we have to get out of the house we have to bring one of Mom’s homemade pepper spray, to make sure that if the squirrel gets to us, we spray it.”
The New York Department of Health said the squirrel / squirrel is unlikely to have rabies.
He said: “The New York Department of Health received a complaint about an aggressive squirrel in Rego Park and advised the owner to hire a licensed trapper from the New York State.
“Squirrels and many other small rodents are rarely infected with rabies.
“If New Yorkers believe they have observed an animal infected with rabies, they should report it to 311.”
