Al Sharpton exploded over a private jet video before visiting Minneapolis

Reverend Al Sharpton was roasted online for posting a deafening video showing him walking on a private jet on a flight to Minneapolis to join George Floyd’s family at the end of the trial of ex-police officer Derek Chauvin.

“I went to Minneapolis to accompany the Floyd family, as final arguments will be raised today,” Sharpton, founder of the National Action Network, wrote about 7:20 a.m. Monday.

During a press conference in Times Square last week, the 66-year-old civil rights activist and MSNBC host said Tyler Perry had offered him his private jet for the flight.

He said he asked Gwen Carr, Eric Garner’s mother, who died in police custody on Staten Island in 2014, to accompany him on the trip.

But Sharpton was soon criticized online by social media users who criticized his offline post.
