Alex Kidd and Miracle World DX, developed by Jankenteam, looks like another welcome remaster of a much-loved retro title. The nice news for old SEGA bosses is that it now has a firm release date, which will hit Nintendo Switch on June 24th.
To celebrate the release date, has a new trailer (via IGN).
It seems like a potentially excellent reimagination; there will be new levels, modes and music, but also the option to experience the game in the original form of the main SEGA system; we also had a chat with the developers last year.
As for the price, it will cost $ 19.99 at the eShop and other digital stores, but there is also a rather special physical edition for the Signature Edition Games reservation; the standard edition is $ 29.99 and the impressive Signature edition is $ 54.99. Unfortunately, the Switch versions are $ 5 more than the PlayStation / Xbox equivalents, which we can safely say is the right cartridge change tax. In any case, go to this page to see the options.
