Alex Rodriguez has boarded a plane to visit Jennifer Lopez in the Dominican Republic after revealing exclusively that the couple is out of the game.
“Happy Monday. New week. New day. Forward. Up,” he posted in an Instagram story showing the ocean and tagging Lopez.
Lopez, 51, is in the Dominican Republic to shoot his new film, “Shotgun Wedding.”
On Friday, Page Six revealed that the high-profile couple’s relationship had hit the rocks and that they had been working to split their assets in recent weeks.
However, on Saturday, the couple issued a statement saying “it’s working on some things.”
Sources told Page Six that they spent an entire night talking after our bomb report and that “they’re trying to review things … but it’s not clear if that means they stay together.”
On Friday they were preparing to explain to their children their separation, according to sources close to the couple. Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, 12, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez, 45, is the father of two daughters, Natasha and Ella, to ex-Cynthia Scurtis.
A source also said of the couple over the weekend: “For the last two weeks they have not been together and the last few days have not been good … They have had crazy problems.
“Could they change their minds? Page six could be responsible for bringing them back together. “
