Alex Saab: in Barranquilla his mother dies of covid – Services – Justice

Authorities in Barranquilla, Atlántico, confirmed to EL TEMPS that this morning Rosa Maria Morán de Saab, the mother of the controversial businessman Alex Saab, has died of covid-19.

The lady was hospitalized for the virus several days ago, and this morning lost the battle. In fact, sources noted that Saab’s father is also sick with the virus but is not hospitalized.

The Saab family called for more reservations about the situation. It transpired that the funeral of the lady will be carried out with all the planned biosecurity measures.

Unofficially it transpired that the relatives of Saab, imprisoned in Cape Verde, would be looking for permits so that the employer could access the religious offices via the internet.

Alex Saab has been detained in Africa for more than six months, in response to a request from the authorities who syndicate him to be Nicolás Maduro’s ringleader.

In March this year, the Supreme Court of Justice in Cape Verde authorized Saab’s extradition to the United States.

The American authorities are syndicating him for money laundering and for serving as a ringleader for Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela.

They warn that many of Saab and Maduro’s illicit activities would be related to drug trafficking.
