The young Alex Villegas, affected by lung cancer, who was admitted to the National Cancer Institute Rosa Emilia Sánchez Pérez de Tavares (Incart), died this Friday.
The young man, who was a cameraman, was visited on Thursday by First Lady Raquel Arbaje, following a request made by him.

On Wednesday, the young man asked Arbaje for help with his illness, although he was content with a visit.
“Hello distinguished @raquelarbaje here I am prostrate in a bed of the @incartrd with lung cancer Lungs I need you to help me with what you can I settle for a visit because I know you are a noble woman,” he wrote in your Twitter account next to a photo of you.

Villegas had worked for country media such as Telemicro and Proceso, as well as on the Dominican Olympic Committee.
With his departure, the young Villegas leaves his wife Heidy Magdelin Burgos de Villegas and their two children.
His remains will be taken to the Sant Ramon funeral home on Avinguda Els Restauradors de Sabana Perdida.
