The two were arrested in an exclusive area of ​​the Dominican capital during a joint operation by the Attorney General’s Office and the National Directorate of Drug Control (DNCD), assisted by U.S. sheriffs, the former reported. organisms.

Authorities reported that the two drug traffickers are being held at the DNCD headquarters and in the custody of U.S. agents.

In the next few hours, the process for their delivery to Puerto Rico will begin, where they have pending cases with the Justice for crimes related to drug trafficking.

On March 11 last year, Dominican anti-narcotics agents reported the arrest of two Puerto Rican men and a woman whom they linked to the group allegedly led by Natera.

Janelys Delgado Rey, who is accused of being Natera’s sentimental partner, Alexis Cabrera and Fernando Hilario Figueroa, alias “Platgeta” or “El Boti”, were arrested in simultaneous operations with the support of US federal agents under the supervision of the Dominican Public Ministry.

According to the Dominican agency, those arrested and prosecuted are required by U.S. authorities to be part of a criminal network known as “The Crocodiles,” because they allegedly threw their victims at these reptiles.

It was also reported that US authorities have confiscated more than $ 75 million in assets.
