A missing ten-year-old girl, whose mother was found dead in the early hours of Wednesday morning, has been found safe and her father is in custody.
Carrollton police said shortly before 11 a.m. Rosemary Lee Singer had been located with the help of Red Oak and Dallas police.
The boy’s father, Ronald Lee Singer, 35, has been arrested and is expected to be charged with murder by the death of the girl’s mother, his ex-wife.
Officers said Maria Romero Ramos, 45, was found dead in her apartment by her roommate around 1 a.m. Wednesday on the 1900 block of East Hebron Parkway. Police investigated the death as a murder.
