Between us just released on Nintendo Switch in December, but the game has already received a fairly significant discount on the platform. From now until February 28, the game will be available for just $ 3.50, less than its normal $ 4.99 price tag. Discounts are pretty common in the Nintendo Switch eShop, but it’s still amazing to see a title as big as Between us with such a quick discount, which makes the sale quite remarkable. The game became one of the biggest surprise hits of 2020, so there’s never been a better time for Nintendo fans to see what all the fuss is about.
While Between us was made available to Switch late last year, the game was already available on other platforms dating back to 2018. The game could not find a significant audience for quite some time, but Between us it found a significantly increased audience after Twitch streamers discovered it. Developer InnerSloth had planned to create a sequel to Between us, but modified the plans after the new success of the game. Instead, new sequel features will now come to the current game, including support for multiple languages and the addition of new content, such as the long-awaited airship map.
Those interested in buying Between us at Switch it should be noted that the game requires a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, unlike other third-party titles such as Fortnite. This can disable potential buyers who haven’t yet signed up for Switch’s online service, as it makes it significantly more expensive than other versions of the game, even with the discount (the service costs $ 19.99 for a year ). However, those who are already subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online will be able to play the game in both portable and docked mode, so there are some advantages to the Switch version. The Switch version is also capable of cross-playing with other versions of the game.
