Ana de Armas says her “life has been to be in the right place at the right time”

Ana de Armas credited her success as a rising protagonist in being in the “right place and at the right time” in a recently published interview with The Sunday Times Style.

While the 32-year-old Golden Globe nominee pondered becoming a well-known name after starring in Knives Out and Blade Runner 2049 in 2019 almost four years ago, she said networking with the “Right people” has been “his life.”

She also seemed to nod to fatally meet her ex-boyfriend Ben Affleck on the set of her upcoming psychological thriller, Deep Water.

During the interview, taken before the end of her nearly one-year romance with the 48-year-old Oscar winner this month, the actress made a few weird comments about Affleck.

While discussing his choice to wear several T-shirts with phrases in Spanish, he noted that he also has some of the popular Cuban brand Clandestina.
