Ana Parra shows the scar she left on her face that she suffered in EXATLON
Last week, just one day before the final of the fifth season of EXATLON USA, Ana Parra, an athlete who won the affection and support of viewers of the reality show Telemundo, saw how luck played a bad pass. After suffering a nose and neck injury in the duel against Nathalia Sánchez, the Colombian had to leave the competition, and could not make her dream of reaching the final and compete with Norma Palafox for the largest prize of $ 200,000 and a trophy.
And a week after suffering the painful blow, the former member of the Contenders team used her Instagram account to show her followers, through a “live” the scar left on her face.
Ana Parra showed the mark left by her injury in EXATLON, and although she mentioned that it feels good to know that things did not happen to seniors, especially with her neck, she confessed that due to her working as a model, her scar affected her.
“Thank God it was just a muscular thing and that’s something I’m grateful for, because the neck is a completely delicate thing, and so nothing. Thank God it wasn’t that much,” the 25-year-old athlete said. . “I know what happened to my face is something so delicate, and today, let’s say it also lives on my face. So I thank God it wasn’t anything serious, and here I keep working hard on it.”
The star of the Blue team also confessed that not being able to reach the grand final, where it was displayed, after having been in the competition since last January, filled her with frustration, but she understood that she could not stay at that feeling or “lament” about your scar.
“Right now, let’s say what happened to me now recently, I don’t know. Having this blow to my face, I was left with let’s say a big scar, I was locked up for 8 months in strong competition, and I left a day before fulfilling a dream, and that I was, say, completely sure that I could get it and that it had not been so, or had been so, was something I was sure I could achieve, and the fact that it had not been so, it filled me with a lot of frustration, ”the model admitted.
The engineer, who recently moved from Colombia to the United States, also talked about what she experienced throughout the competition, and praised the good relations the show left her with her teammates. and its rivals, despite the harshness the show meant.
“In 8 months, it’s too long, too long away, away from your family, away from the people you want. The closure there is sometimes, because it hurts your head a lot, a lot, a lot, a lot. very hard moments, a lot of time there. It’s a completely wonderful experience, but the friendships you make there are, I think lifelong friendships. So I think I would repeat that experience, “the former Contender concluded.
