Anderson Cooper’s son watching him for the first time on TV is super sweet

While the rest of the nation can watch CNN’s Anderson Cooper on television most afternoons, his son, Wyatt Morgan, just got his first look this week.

The veteran news presenter shared a picture on Monday night of his baby, who turns 1 this year, watching as the father invited the father “Jeopardy!”

“Wyatt had never seen me on TV, and probably won’t for a long time, but he apparently caught some of me on @Jeopardy!” Cooper wrote on Instagram.

He said it was a dream come true to host the show, pay tribute to the late host Alex Trebek and raise funds for the Albert Schweitzer Hospital.

He will be raising funds during his two weeks in the program for the organization, a hospital in Haiti that helps residents of the Artibonite Valley get medical attention.

Cooper shared the news of Wyatt’s April 27 birth, through a surrogate, in a surprise ad on air last year. “It’s sweet, smooth and healthy, and I’m more than happy,” he said at the time.

“Danger!” he previously announced he would have a guest host on the series after a six-week stage with star contestant Ken Jennings at the helm. Trebek, who had organized the program for several decades, died in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Cooper is no stranger to the game. He has appeared several times as a contestant on “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and said he was a fan since high school.
