Andrew Cuomo’s story with women: wives, friends, accusers

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s love life has been rocky and sometimes deserving, for years, since long before a second former aide accused him of sexual harassment at work on Feb. 27.

In a nutshell, the heart of some heartbroken liberals (who called themselves “cuomosexuals” at the height of Governor COVID-19’s daily briefings last year), Cuomo, 63, has made no secret which is on the rise after a very public break in 2019.

One of these gay men was comedian Chelsea Handler.

But when the Los Angeles-based comic asked her to go online, the governor made her a ghost, joking last October, a year after her breakup with chef Sandra Lee, the famous 14-year-old girlfriend .

“I’m a big Chelsea fan and she’s fantastic and we have fun, but in my dating life, I know, I’m just dating state residents right now,” Cuomo said during an appearance in October in “The View,” Allegedly, referring to the COVID-19 crisis, still rampant.

“On a human level, on a social level,” he lamented jokingly in front of “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah, also in October, “nobody wants to have dinner with me.”

Cuomo was married to Kerry Kennedy, the seventh son of Robert F. Kennedy, from 1990 to 2005.

They share daughters Cara Ethel Kennedy-Cuomo, Mariah Matilda Kennedy-Cuomo and Michaela Kennedy-Cuomo.

Why it has never been made clear why the two splits.

However, an excerpt from “The Contender,” a biography of Cuomo that was published in Vanity Fair, says that the tension in their relationship arose very soon and Kennedy even insisted that the couple seek marriage counseling, but Cuomo was too consumed with work.

That same year their divorce ended, the governor began a relationship with food network host Lee, and the couple settled together in 2011.

However, the couple’s 14-year relationship officially ended in September 2019, and Cuomo has repeatedly publicly confided that he has been looking for love ever since.

“Do you think you’re an attractive person now because you’re single and ready to mingle?” Governor Chris’ CNN host brother Chris teased him on his “Cuomo Prime Time” show

“No,” the governor grabbed WAMC radio host Alan Chartock, who last summer asked if he was dating anyone. “What happened to the women you recommend?” made a mockery of Chartock.
