Andy Cohen and Cynthia Bailey are “heartbroken” by the news of the death of NeNe Leakes’ husband, Gregg Leakes.
Host “Look what’s going on live with Andy Cohen” told Gregg a “wonderful man” on Twitter shortly after the news Wednesday.

Bailey, who co-starred in “Real Housewives of Atlanta” with NeNe, he wrote, “So many good times and so many amazing memories. Gregg was always so loving, fun and kind. So happy to have him in my life. Sending my sincere condolences to @NeNeLeakes and his family. Thinking of you , my heart and prayers are with you. ”
Gregg died Wednesday of colon cancer, his publicist confirmed.
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has died peacefully at home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife NeNe Leakes, ”the couple’s representative said in a press release.
The statement continued: “We ask you to pray for the peace and strength of your family and to allow them to mourn in private during this very, very difficult time.”
NeNe’s wife revealed over the weekend that Gregg was in the process of “transitioning to the other side,” receiving a shower of support from several other Bravolebrities.
“Praying for Gregg, @neneleakes and his family,” Kenya Moore wrote in her Instagram Story on Monday. “Even through our ups and downs, Gregg never treated me differently, he was always kind and respectful.”
