Andy Dauhajre goes to court to raise a rebellion against him

Santo Domingo, RD

The First Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal of the National District, issued a warrant against Andrés (Andy) Dauhajre.

The court made the decision after declaring Dauhajre in rebellion, who was summoned for knowledge of the revocation of the final file that was issued in his favor.

While it was reported that after learning that there was an arrest warrant against him, Andy Dauhajre went before the court clerk to lift the rebellion decreed against him.

Andy Dauhajre appealed against a decision of the Fourth District Judge of the National District, Solange Vásquez, which revoked a final file issued in his favor by the then Attorney General of the Republic, Jean Alain Rodríguez, in hosting a request of the political leader Guido Gómez Mazara.

Political leader Gómez Mazara and the representative of the National Foundation for Civil Rights, Inc., Domingo Rojas Pereyra objected to the filing of the investigation into the complaint they filed against the economist, after his company Baker Street Financial , appears in his name and was on a list of alleged payments that the Brazilian company Odebrecht would have made.

On December 26, Pepca notified Gómez Mazara and Rojas Pereyra of the final filing of the investigation into the contract between the Dominican Corporation of State Electric Companies (CDEEE) and Andrés Dauhajre for US $ 750,000.00 and in which the company Baker Street Financial and Fincastle Enterprises, LTD appear receiving millionaire sums in favor of the economist and the purchase of an apartment in New York City.
