Original story [Sun 30th May, 2021 06:30 BST]: A few months ago, VIZ Media revealed that it would translate Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Deserted Island Diary. If you didn’t catch the original story we ran, it’s a manga about what the villagers do when you’re not here.
In an update, VIZ Media announced the Animal Crossing: New Horizons, vol. 1 Desert Island Diary It will arrive on September 14 and you can book it for only $ 9.99. The same message also gives Animal Crossing fans a look at the localized cover, which is similar but different to the game box.

The Desert Island Diary first published in Japan last July, contains 128 pages and history and art of Kokonasu Rumba. There’s even a preview of the Japanese version that you can check out to get a better idea of what to expect.
