There are no new games in the Top 40
More than a year since it went on sale and Animal Crossing: New Horizons is back at the top of the UK boxing list.
The game rose one spot on the charts, despite a 21% drop in sales during the week.
The Nintendo Switch exclusive has now surpassed one million box office sales in the UK, making it one of two games released last year to achieve the feat.
The other game is FIFA 21, which this week ranks No. 2 on the charts, after a 34% drop in sales during the week. The EA title was last week’s best-selling game.
All of the top ten games dropped in sales this week and there were no new games on the lists. Overall, cash game sales fell 28% on weekdays in the UK.
Recent releases dropped to the list this week. Monster Hunter Rise falls two places to No. 6 after a 56% drop in weekday sales. Meanwhile, Outriders drops ten places to No. 16 after a 74% drop in sales. The game is also available on Xbox Games Pass. Digital sales data is not included in these graphs.
