After the Animal Crossing: New Horizons‘Upgrading to version 1.8.0 last week, Nintendo has finally made the full patch notes available to you.
The highlight is that this update adds collaborative articles from the 35th anniversary of Super Mario. In addition, “limited-time” seasonal items are available at Nook Shopping. Last but not least, it is a solution to a problem that appeared in the previous update and some other tweaks to enhance the experience.

Ver. 1.8.0 (released on February 25, 2021)
The software has been updated if you see “Ver. 1,8.0 “at the top right of the title screen.
General updates
- Collaborative articles have been added as part of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. These items can be ordered from Nook Shopping from March 1, 2021.
- The following content has also been added:
- Additional seasonal items for limited time from Nook Shopping.
The issues have been resolved
- Fixed a Ver issue. 1.7.0, if a user selected their own user icon in the HOME menu followed by “Find users you’ve played with” in the “Add friend” menu after an online or local wireless multiplayer session, the nickname the other player’s Nintendo Switch user profile will be displayed in “Game Name” when that player is selected in “Users You Played With”
- Other adjustments and corrections were made to improve the gaming experience.
Along with all this, you will receive a mural of mushrooms in the mail. It seems that the Warp Pipe element included in this update has also allowed players to regain access to the fourth forbidden level of the game.
