The overloaded sheep, named Baarack, had been found “wandering the steep Victorian surface” by a property maintenance man who took her to Edgar’s mission in Lancefield, Victoria, in early February, according to the shelter. .
In the video filmed by Edgar’s mission staff on February 5, Baarack struggles to balance himself under the weight of his poisoned, dirty velvet.

Edgar’s mission told Storyful that Baarack was “doing so well” and getting used to life at the shelter.
He had more than 35 pounds of wool, according to CNN.
“We really believe he understands that what we’ve done for him has lightened his life and made him better,” they said. “At the moment he is settling in with other sheep rescued with the same fate.”
