Anker on Monday unveiled a new range of products and accessories for Apple devices, including some that can be connected to iPhone models equipped with MagSafe.
Some of the new accessories include power banks that can be magnetically attached to the back of an iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro model. While these power banks take advantage of MagSafe magnetic docking points, they will not provide MagSafe speeds. They will be available in capacities of up to 10,000 mAh and will debut in February 2021 from $ 37.99 to $ 51.99.
Similarly, Anker launches new wireless chargers and magnetic media. Like battery packs, these will not incorporate faster MagSafe charging speeds: they will be limited to 7.5 W as Qi wireless charging. As a possible replacement for AirPower, Anker also withdrew a new 3-in-1 PowerWave Go charging cradle that will be able to simultaneously turn on an iPhone, an AirPods charging cradle and an Apple Watch. The accessory maker is also launching a new PowerExpand Thunderbolt 4 Mini Dock 5 in 1 that will be capable of charging laptops up to 85 W. The dock will also be able to drive a single 8K monitor or a pair of 4K screens. It will be released in February and will cost $ 199.99.
There will also be new magnetic cases for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 range in various designs, as well as new Lightning to USB-C cables with new pastel color options.
