Last year’s tour was initially scheduled for the usual offline circuit, but COVID-19 quickly put the kibosh in those plans. Capcom diverted the route to do the entire route online and planned a Capcom Cup in the Dominican Republic, but also ended COVID restrictions.
Instead, the finalists ended up playing online displays against other competitors in their respective regions, but the 2020 Tour certainly felt understandable compared to the usual hype and excitement generated by the Tour.
The full CPT schedule can now be viewed on the website, where events will begin in April and continue through January 2022.
