MLB The Show not only honors Robinson’s legacy by putting him on the cover of the game. PlayStation will also donate $ 1 to the Jackie Robinson Foundation for each collector’s edition of MLB’s The Show 21 sold in the U.S. through the end of the year.
You can pre-order the Jackie Robinson edition of MLB The Show 21 now, as well as the regular edition of the game, which has on the cover the phenomenon of Padres Fernando Tatis Jr.
Jackie Robinson’s edition bookings include four days of early access to the game starting April 16, the day after the annual MLB celebration of Jackie Robinson’s Day.

With donations from the MLB The Show 21 Collector’s Editions, the Jackie Robinson Foundation, which was created by Robinson’s wife Rachel in 1973, will establish the JRF MLB The Show Scholars program in collaboration with PlayStation.
JRF MLB Program Students The Show Scholars program will receive four-year scholarships and support services such as career guidance and internships. There is more information about the Jackie Robinson Foundation programs here and more information will be released on how to apply to be JRF MLB The Scholar Show in November.
MLB’s The Show announcement of Jackie Robinson’s game edition on Wednesday comes three days after Robinson’s birthday (he would have been 102 on January 31) and while the United States is celebrating Black History Month .
