After the talment Crossed Kings effort, another Paradox strategy title—Stellarisis on its way to play on the board after successfully achieving your Kickstarter funding goal.

It’s not that the goal has never been questioned — for a major board game, Kickstarter rarely is — but at the time of publication, almost 6,000 people have supported it / pre-ordered a copy for a total funding of $ 940,000.

Stellaris the video game is an extensive 4X affair in which you try to build a huge space empire and you are responsible for everything from building material on the planets to diplomacy to researching and deciding what weapons to put on your ships space.

The board game … looks pretty similar! What I like most is that it has simultaneous scheduling, which means it eliminates a lot of downtime “I still plan to give myself a minute.” Also fun: each game only lasts about two hours, but you can expand and continue your civ for several sessions, going down the search trees as you go.
