An Apex Legends developer has provided an update on a long awaited feature with good and bad news. There are many functions Apex Legends Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X / S players want to be added to the game, including the leaderboards. In the past, the developers of the game hinted that the feature could be added in the future, but so far these clues have not been made.
That said, this week Chin Xiang Chong, the game’s lead designer, has provided an update to the feature. The good news is that the team has not forgotten about the rankings, which remains on the list of things it would like to do. The bad news doesn’t seem to be near the top of this list.
“Yeah, it’s on the list of things we’d like to do,” Chong said. “Unfortunately, the list is very long and time and resources are limited, so ultimately it’s a matter of priorities and unfortunately compared to, say, cross-play, this was a lower priority “.
Yes, it appears in the list of things we would like to do. Unfortunately, the list is very long and time and resources limited, so ultimately it is a matter of priorities and unfortunately compared to, say, cross-play, this was a lower priority.

Unfortunately, that’s all Chong has to say about the feature. In other words, even if it seems to be approaching, it is not known when it will arrive. At this point, though, it’s safe to assume he won’t fall during season 8.
