Raleigh, North Carolina – The Apex police department announced Saturday night that Emily Montgomery’s body has been found.
Montgomery, 26, was reported missing the day before Thanksgiving. His body was found near block 7300 of ACC Boulevard, Raleigh, in an industrial area near Brier Creek.
His body has been sent to Raleigh State Medical Office for an autopsy.
Montgomery’s boyfriend, Jose Carlos Jacome-Granizo, 29, of Raleigh, was charged with first-degree murder on Dec. 10.
If convicted of the crime, he faces life in prison or the death penalty.
Montgomery was the mother of a 5-year-old boy.
Police did not release further information to the public at this time.
