The report suggests that Apple is in negotiations with Hyundai Motor Group to manufacture an “Apple Car.” Apple is said to plan to work with Hyundai to produce electric vehicles and develop batteries due to the “huge costs” of the technology and production facilities required.

Several previous rumors have suggested that Apple will work with a manufacturing partner to produce the “Apple Car,” but so far it has not been known which manufacturer Apple could partner with. Since the report mentions “negotiations,” an agreement may not yet be reached, so Apple’s plans could change.
