Apple Watch Series 7 clones appear in China

Images intended to show fake clones of upcoming Apple Watch Series 7 models have been shared online, giving a more detailed view of the expected redesign of the device.

The images, shared in a tweet from the user known as “Majin Bu, “show fake clones of the Apple Watch Series 7 in space gray, silver and space black. The design of the clones closely matches the redesign that is expected to bring square edges to the Apple Watch, like those of the iPhone Training 12, iPad Air, iPad Pro and 24-inch iMac.

While the imaging units are clones and not legitimate Apple devices, they can give the best impression yet of what we can expect the new Apple Watch design to have in the real world. Majin Bu explained that these Apple Watch Series 7 clones will sell for about $ 60 in China.

The design of the Apple Watch Series 7 has so far only been seen in filtered image-based representations and presumed CAD representations of the industry, with two long speaker grilles on the left side of the device, square edges and a thinner casing .

While the Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be 1.7mm thinner than the 6 Series, it’s worth noting that this change may not have moved to clones and that smartwatches ligands represented in these images may appear thicker than genuine devices.

Clones of popular Apple products are routinely made in China, often in the hopes of fooling customers into thinking they are the real thing. The problem is so widespread that Apple has a team whose sole purpose is to combat counterfeit products and prevent them from being sold.

Earlier this year, in March, images of third-generation AirPod clones appeared online. Given that these AirPods have not yet been launched more than half a year later, it will demonstrate how far ahead counterfeit manufacturing operations are taking place in China. However, the range of images showing third-generation thirdAirPods‌ clones have given the clearest look so far to the expected design of the new wireless headphones.

The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected to be unveiled by Apple next month, probably alongside the iPhone 13 line, with improved display technology and Ultra Wideband connectivity, a faster processor, a larger battery and far more.
