CONROE, Texas – Appointments for the first massive Montgomery County coronavirus vaccine clinic were completed Tuesday shortly after the clinic was announced.
The appointment-only clinic is held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds at 9333 Airport Road in Conroe. It will be open from 9 a.m. until Friday, when all doses have been administered.
Those who meet the requirements for the current phase of vaccine administration could register online. Officials said those with a registered appointment must bring their QR code and a valid form of identification to receive the shot. People will not be allowed without an appointment inside the vaccine site.

“This vaccination site is possible because the State Department of Health Services has allocated 2,000 doses to the Lone Star Family Health Center this week,” a press release said. “As the state continues to increase the number of vaccines assigned to providers in our community in the coming weeks, Montgomery County is proud to partner with Lone Star Family Health to open our first mass vaccination site. Eligible residents can begin making appointments to receive the first dose on-site, and as additional state provision becomes available, we hope to open more locations throughout the county to help facilitate access to the community that wants to receive the vaccine. ”
