It practically retains everything else as well
Anyone who has fought a strong Leo player in Guilty Gear Xrd will probably still wake up sweating at night about how to try to block a king’s wild beast, and the developers are apparently duplicating that part of their game.
Arc System Works has now released Leo Whitefang’s start-up guide, as it will appear in Guilty Gear Strive, and they apparently made his return position even better than in the previous game.
Unlike Ramlethal, who changed almost all of his specials to Strive, Leo remains the same in his move game with his multicolored fireball, his invincible investment, and more at his disposal.
The biggest difference seems to be that their Kaltes Gestöber Erst rekka attacks have been split into their own specials while receiving the new special Turbulenz ground blast on their Xrd Siegesparade.
None of this really matters that much, though Leo Glanzendes Dunkel’s command that he can use in his Brynhildr position, so now his opponents will have to guess which way to block i if there is a big release that literally falls to them.
We’ll soon see in the beta if Leo is better off trying to attack the enemy, but if / when he does, good luck to those who look behind him.
