Arizona is the least secure state during the pandemic, according to the WalletHub study

Arizona is the least secure state during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a study that analyzes data from several official sources.

States were classified by safety order based on vaccination rates, positive tests, hospitalizations, deaths, and transmissions.

Our state achieved the global security ranking of 51, the last place of the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

We also ranked 51st for the highest positive test rate and the highest hospitalization rate. We had the second highest mortality rate, just above Alabama, and the third highest transmission rate, just above Washington and Hawaii.

The safest data-based states are said to be Alaska, Vermont, Colorado and Montana.

The study used data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the COVID Monitoring Project, and rt.live, according to WalletHub.
