Army vs. Navy Game Score: The Black Knights covered the Midshipmen in the fog for their fourth victory in the last five meetings

Army defeated West Point Navy 15-0 on Saturday in the 121st Army-Navy game, their fourth win in the last five encounters between the teams. It was a 3-0 game after the first three quarters, but the Army stopped it in the fourth quarter. Army quarterback Tyher Tyler was the Black Knights star at 110 yards and a touchdown of 26 attempts. He completed his solo pass attempt in the game, setting the Army’s first field goal of picking up 28-yards on a wheelbarrow in the second quarter. While the navy held up to 117 yards, it was dominated by two defenses as the army ended the day with 162 yards of offense. Navy QB Xavier led the offense of the offline midshipmen, running 111 yards in 17 carries. Army footballer Quinn Maretsky hit two of his three field-goal attempts, however his missed field goal resulted in a bad second and catch. The victory moves the Army 7-2 this season and sets up a winner-take-all clash in next week’s Commander’s Trophy against the Air Force. This loss reduces the Navy to 3-7. This is the third time the Navy have finished a season with seven or more losses during the tenure of coach Ken Numatololo. The Army has won four of its last five games against the Navy since falling 14 straight in the first series in 2002-15. The 15 total points scored on Saturday in a game between the Knights and the Midshipman in 1981 was the lowest at 3-3.
