Assassin’s Creed Valhalla removes content after an innovative update that provokes adverse reactions

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update 1.2 released this week on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Google Stadia, adds a much-anticipated gameplay feature in the process, along with plenty of new content, including DLC free that brings players back to the first game. That said, while it was the biggest update to the game in a while, it’s also proving to be quite problematic. Since its launch, players have, en masse, been reporting major bugs and even bugs. As a result, some of the new content you added has been removed from the game in a review.

More on Twitter, the official Assassin’s Creed account has revealed that a server overhaul has been introduced to resolve issues that occur in and around Ravensthorpe. In order to achieve this, Ubisoft has removed the settlement decorations and the missions of the Ostara Festival can no longer be completed.

“We are deploying a server overhaul to address a drop in fall near Ravensthorpe,” the message says. “Clearance decorations will be temporarily removed and Ostara Festival decoration missions will not be completed.”

At the time of publication, it is not entirely clear whether this review has fixed all the failed issues. And it’s also unclear when this content will be added to the game again. What is clear is that players are starting to lose patience.
