Ubisoft has confirmed that the upcoming River Raid update of Valhalla’s Assassin’s Creed tomorrow on PS5 and PS4 (of course on February 16). With the official name of Title Update 1.1.2, the patch will include the new River Raid activity, as well as various unlocking skills, general game improvements, and bug fixes. It’s a pretty big download on Sony systems, which weigh 11GB on PS5 and 10GB on PS4.

YULE SEASON: RAID RAID GAME MODE

We’ve added River Raids support to the game.

  • Prepare your Jomsviking crew for this new highly reproducible mode that will take you to unexplored regions of England, full of attack opportunities. New loot, rewards and challenges await you in the Raven clan.
  • River Raids mode is part of the content of the Yule season. It’s free for all Assassin’s Creed® Valhalla players, and is accessible in the game after downloading Title Update 1.1.2.

NEW SKILLS

  • Berserker Trap:This sets a trap for your arrow, spreading mind-boggling dust. Any close movement causes the trap to be triggered. Surprise clueless passers-by!
  • Battle Cry:In a fit of rage, Eivor utters a cry of blood rennet, gaining strength and causing nearby enemies to stumble back in fear, interrupting his attacks.
  • Shoulder:Eivor performs a shoulder blow that pushes back the enemies and destroys objects.

NEW SKILLS

  • Assassin Carry:Automatically carry a body after a successful murder.
  • Assassin Slide:Slide towards enemies and unbalance them as you run.
  • Power:Trigger an increase in speed on the long ship at the expense of endurance.
  • Rooter:Eivor is more likely to loot archers’ arrows.
  • Prepared for the fight:Always start a fight with a slot full of adrenaline.
  • Long boat key:When you are in command of the long ship, the crew will raise their shield with you.

GAME IMPROVEMENTS

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Runes and resources used to upgrade the Berserker team will be returned to the player’s inventory when an object is lost.
  • Improved vibration feedback during fishing. Fishing goes BRRRR.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to abandon disguise mode if players make any attacks while driving.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from catching fish in the sea or on the coast.
  • Fixed an issue that made the fish gang take a long time to reappear after being caught.
  • Items purchased from the Animus store will only be delivered to players after returning to England from Vinland.
  • Predator-loading attack animations have been changed to give players a little more time to react.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the fabric from being available. Everyone liked this.
  • Date of purchase added to items listed in the store-owned section.

BALANCE

  • Diamond rune slots have been removed from gear sets other than torsos. The ruins that were included in these will be returned to the player’s inventory.

GRAPHICS, AUDIO AND ANIMATION

  • Various graphics or lighting issues have been fixed.
  • Several texture issues have been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the VFX explosion to be missing when the oil tankers exploded. The oil jars will now go BOOM.
  • (PS4 ™ / PS5 ™) The Muspell Warg mount will now burn with Hel’s fires!
  • The blood of your enemies will now soil all your clothes.
  • Several issues related to character animation or NPCs have been fixed.
  • Several clipping issues have been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented visual effects from the Draugr set from being displayed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the arrows in the case to disappear after retrofitting the inventory arc.

QUESTIONS, WORLD EVENTS AND SIDE ACTIVITIES

  • Fixed an issue with Storming the Walls, which prevented players from completing the mission. Gunnar has decided to join the festivities of The First Night of Samhain, allowing players to complete the mission. Party time!
  • Fixed an issue that allowed the NPC of the world event The Good Men of Sherwood to be killed. Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally, golly, what a day.
  • Jomsviking equipment will now display its quality correctly on the customization page.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause Jomsviking to change shape and size on the menu when hired.
  • Randvi is ready to hear the news after completing the Sciropescire Arc, allowing him to complete the alliance.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with Tove after completing Carrying the Torch.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some dice to be reused when both players used God’s favor by giving 3 additional dice. There is nothing left up your sleeve.
  • Fixed an issue with the Fishmonger meeting that prevented marking the search as complete after confirming death.
  • Players will no longer have ashes if they escape before fighting the Bard in The Devil Has All the Best Tunes.
  • Players who load a save created after playing Clues and Riddles will now be able to complete the goal.
  • An extended family problem has been fixed which meant the head did not cause any damage during the underground attacks.
  • Fixed an extended family issue that caused the head to get stuck near the walls, stay underground, or not participate in any combat.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the final order member from being revealed. No more Revealio!
  • Fixed an issue with Binding Fate that prevented players from completing the boss encounter, as the boss may get trapped underground.
  • Fixed an issue in Binding Fate that prevented players from completing the mission after talking to Tyr.
  • Fixed an issue in War Weary that prevented players from completing the mission after defeating all outside NPCs.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the death of all members of the Order after killing a fanatic. This may be the wildest problem ever seen.
  • Fixed an issue in The Big Finish that prevented players from completing the mission when the hideout was visited before the mission began.
  • Fixed an issue in Blood from a Stone that prevented players from moving a charge stack.
  • A problem has been fixed in The Prodigal Prince that made the target get stuck if Eivor kills the first training mannequin before reaching the checkpoint.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with Gotafrid Fair-Robes after the fight, if players threw them into the river. Yeeeeeet!
  • A problem has been fixed in The Twit Saga Part I, where the house would sometimes not catch fire preventing players from completing the world event.
  • A problem has been fixed in Degolas el Bell that made the size of the child grow. TO HOLD.
  • Fixed an issue with Degolas the Beautiful that prevented Degolas from leaving the water.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with settlement NPCs.
  • Fixed an issue in Crushed Dreams that prevented players from completing the world event, as the woman is in a dead state. The name of the mission is checked.
  • Fixed an issue where the world map was unavailable after talking to Ceolwulf.

GAME, COMBAT AND AI

  • Several NPC behavior problems have been fixed.
  • Mounts will heed Eivor’s call from the Quick Actions wheel.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the NPC to die before it was hit. Convene an emergency meeting.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Eivor to end up standing after being idle for a while. Eivor and tip.
  • Fixed an issue that caused thumbnails to appear as decorative elements.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to obtain the Nodens Arc through save / load actions. It had to be done.

AUDIO

  • (PS4 ™) Fixed an issue that made crisp sounds.
  • Fixed an issue that caused dead swarm animals to make inactive sounds. I know an Animus error when I see one.

PHOTOGRAPHIC MODE

  • Fixed an issue where photo mode frames were not scaled to the size of the game window.
  • Fixed an issue that caused terrain representation issues when moving the camera.

USER / HUD INTERFACE

  • Several UI / HUD issues have been fixed.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Premium Start Pack items to appear in fine quality rather than mythical quality.
  • After meeting Cola, the appropriate icon will be displayed on the Order tab.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Reda contracts acquired to appear in the Cent Missions Log section.
  • Fixed an issue that made contracts not count for Viking for Hire progression.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from interacting with any item in the Network Store when focused browsing is enabled.
  • Players will be able to change targets with the mouse wheel using M and K.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the stick input to stick after activating the Swap Sticks option during Cairns.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the call mount request to appear every time a whistle is used to attract enemies.
  • Fixed an issue with pressing the D-Pad button, causing the Daily Concept Art to remain.
  • Fixed an issue that caused various daily concepts to be shown on the world map.
  • Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor was not displayed when switching back to M&K after the driver was used as the sole source.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the order of the old icons from changing depending on the selected colorblind settings.
  • Fixed an issue that caused control conflicts in photo mode if the Change Sticks option is turned on.
  • Fixed an issue where the caption slider value was not reset to the default value.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the browser difficulty to be reset to Adventurer instead of Explorer when the default settings were reset.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the adrenaline rush from filling up after the second murder was committed through chain murders.
  • A stop fishing button has been added during the aim state.
  • Several cases have been addressed in which Odin’s Sight highlighted accessories that it should not do.
  • Fixed an issue that caused “data corruption” errors after entering the save menu.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the bullion that was looted from the destroyer (Hamptun blockade) from being counted to complete the wealth.
  • Fixed an issue where Fly Agar Mysteries would not be highlighted with the appropriate mystery icon.

SYSTEM

  • Fixed an issue where online service errors were displayed when creating or hovering over photos.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to get stuck during loading after entering the save / load menu.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the MSI voice command feature to stop working after saving / loading it.

PERFORMANCE AND STABILITY

  • Improved performance and stability.
