Hell, it looks like the latest update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (patch 1111) has introduced a pretty annoying bug. The aforementioned update focuses on fixes for a large number of (relatively minor) issues, but somehow, the game’s facial animation system has also been broken. It’s never easy, is it?
The problem appeared on Reddit today, and now the same thread is full of people saying they encounter the same error. We had to try it ourselves and came across the problem almost immediately. It seems like not every scene in the game is affected by the bug, but yes those that see non-playable characters who can’t move their mouths while talking. They stand there staring at Eivor’s soul as the words fill the air. Everything is terribly disturbing and obviously pulls you out of the experience.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has already had a good deal of technical issues, and while many of those issues have been cleared up over the past two months, the new bugs are the last thing the open world adventure needs. Here we hope it will be a quick fix.
