Assassin’s Creed’s Valhalla tests that most players don’t know exist are finally being fixed

Assassins Creed Valhalla Avenge Player Quests

Did you know that there is a specific type of dynamic mission in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that the vast majority of players will probably never see? They are called ‘Avenge’ missions and are triggered when Eivor encounters the dead body of a fellow Viking in the open world.

These bodies represent other Valhalla players that a nearby enemy killed in their own game. After inspecting the corpse, you have the task of chasing this enemy and once you are dead you will get minor rewards like xp and silver. Those of you who have played Assassin’s Creed Origins may remember that the title featured these same missions online.

But again, the problem here is that these revenge missions are extremely rare in Valhalla, to the point that players have been questioning whether they just made a complete mistake since the launch. And, as it turns out, they are. The development team has once again updated its official list of known issues with the game, and “revenge missions can’t be found anywhere” now “under investigation.”

Hopefully, the revenge missions will finally work as intended in the near future, which will add a little more spice to Eivor’s adventure. Dare we ask you if you’ve ever found another player’s body? Prepare your revenge set in the comments section below.
