The statement was released after the Public Ministry filed a tax claim against the former director of Strategic Investment of Honduras (Invest-H), Marc Bográn, and former administrator Alex Moraes, as well as Guatemalan businessman Axel López .
Chinchilla noted that the Prosecutor’s Office formed a team in judicial, fiscal and academic matters for the investigation against the actions of former Invest-H officials.
“This meant that a serious, responsible, rigorous and very thorough investigation has been concluded, which translates into the presentation of a request with the presentation of two defendants, making use of the powers of the procedural regulations given to the Prosecution in the case of the purchase of mobile hospitals, “Chinchilla explained.
The crimes charged by the MP against Marc Bográn are a violation of the duties of officials and two for fraud.

The Attorney General announced that the MP will request the measure of judicial detention of the accused, and in the initial hearing the pre-trial detention against the two accused. He alleged that there is a danger of escape on the part of the two defendants.
