Without being brilliant, Deportivo Cali got a valuable 1-0 victory in Tunja over Chicó on Tuesday, which puts it partially in the lead of the League.

After a heavy week due to the absence of his figure Agustín Palavecino, stunned by the flirtations of River and Palmeiras, and after the surprising draw at home against Envigado in the previous day, the fans and the football of the Cali demanded the presence of the Argentine.

And on the 10th he came back, apparently after making some things clear with the board, dressed in shorts, played and scored the winning goal.

In the first half there was control of the ball by both teams.
The sugars, however, were not seen until in some passages of the encounter they were overtaken by the fast local players.

In the 14th minute there was the first chance to score and he ran on behalf of the Chicó; Kevin Londoño charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equalizer for Nelino Tàpia, but the shot went well wide of the goal.

Cali responded and in the 30th minute Marco Pérez lost an incredible opportunity, with the whole bow at his disposal, in the strong shot and the ball went over the horizontal.

Until the play of the sugar goal, minute 65, center of John Vásquez and appearance of Palavecino to send it deep of the network.
Two minutes later the equalizer came with a shot from Banguero, but Guillem de Amores avoided the fall of his fence by sending the ball to the corner kick.

Then, no matter how hard he tried Chichó, he didn’t have enough for the tie. He even finished with a minus for the expulsion of Diego Echeverri at the end of the match.

In the meantime Cali recovered well in defense, withstood the disorderly attacks of the premises and left victorious with annotation of the player who more demanded the liking: Agustín Palavecino.

The Sugar Cups now add 10 points, are leaders at the table and are encouraged to continue to be protagonists in the League.
