A team from the New Vehicle Assessment Program for Latin America and the Caribbean (Latin NCAP) recently applied a collision test to a Ford Ka car, made in Brazil, and awarded the vehicle zero stars. During testing, experts discovered that one of the best-selling cars in the South American giant is not durable and loaded with various security features, RT reports.
According to specialists, this low-cost model offers 34% protection to adult occupants and only 9% to minors, while its safety assistance systems cover 7% of the total. As for pythons, the car provides 50% protection in the event of a collision.
